New Zealand police are being kitted out with $20.7 million worth of new body Armour. It is more comfortable and has more customization. Commissioner of Police Mike Bush announced the roll out last week in Auckland.
I think it's a bad idea because that money could go to homeless people or a charity. I know we need to keep our officers safe because they do so much for us and they need to stay alive and look after us and their families.

But I also think the main thing they are worrying about is being comfortable. This doesn't seem fair when there are thousands of kids and families that don't even have a bed to sleep in.
Hi Rylan, Thanks for sharing your opinion on this news article. 20.7 million dollars does seem like a huge amount of money to spend on being more comfortable. The new body armour actually has one more feature which was one of the deciding factors in purchasing this. See if you find out what that is?
